About Baruna Boat Co | Bali Private Boat Charter

**Baruna Boat Co is a Bali day-boat charter concierge, operated by Bali Premium Trip, that arranges private whole-boat trips to Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan and the south-Bali coast. We are an independent booking desk — not the boat owner — matching families and small groups to vetted, licensed local vessels departing Sanur, Serangan and Benoa.**

Everything on this site is built around one simple idea: you should be able to charter a whole boat for the day, know the price up front, and spend the hours snorkelling Manta Bay instead of decoding a per-person spreadsheet. Below is exactly who we are, who runs the boats, and how a booking actually happens.

What is Baruna Boat Co, exactly?

We are a specialist concierge for private, motorized day charters — speedboats and cabin day-cruisers — on a whole-boat, per-boat basis. That means you book the entire vessel for your group, not a seat on a shared transfer.

We deliberately stay in one lane. We are not a superyacht broker, not a sailing or phinisi outfit, and not a multi-day cruise company. What we do is the family and small-group day boat: leave Sanur after breakfast, swim with manta rays at Manta Point, snorkel Crystal Bay and Toyapakeh, see Kelingking Beach and Broken Beach, and be back for a late-afternoon shower.

Who operates Baruna Boat Co?

Baruna Boat Co is operated by Bali Premium Trip, which handles reservations, itinerary planning and on-the-day coordination. Bali Premium Trip is the concierge and operations desk — the people who answer your WhatsApp, confirm your boat and brief the crew.

Here is the honest part, stated plainly: we do not own the boats. Baruna Boat Co is an independent concierge and booking agent. The vessels are owned and captained by licensed local operators from Sanur, Serangan and Benoa, and every charter is arranged via vetted licensed partners. We choose who we work with based on maintenance, safety kit, crew experience and how they treat guests — then we stand between you and them so you have one accountable point of contact.

The publisher behind this site is Juara Holding Group. We don’t run fake five-star badges, invented award years or borrowed reviews. If we quote a price, we tell you whose price list it came from and when.

Who writes and checks the information here?

This site is edited by our Sanur-based marine-travel desk, a Balinese team that has spent years crossing the Badung Strait to Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan.

Kadek knows about: private day charters to Nusa Penida and Lembongan; departures from Sanur, Serangan and Benoa; the snorkel sites that actually deliver — Manta Bay, Crystal Bay and Toyapakeh; the difference between a bare 12-metre speedboat and an air-conditioned cabin cruiser; per-boat versus per-person pricing; and how the strait behaves through the day. Every figure and itinerary on this site is checked against real operator price lists before it is published, and date-stamped so you can see how current it is.

You will never see “Agung Afif” bylined here. Editorial sits with a named marine-travel editor, and commercial bookings sit with the Bali Premium Trip team.

What can you actually charter — and what does it cost?

Private whole-boat day charters from Bali run roughly IDR 8,000,000 to IDR 44,500,000 (about USD 500 to USD 2,500) for a full private day, depending on the vessel’s size, comfort and itinerary. These are per-boat “start from” rates as of 2026 and are subject to change.

Vessel style Typical capacity Best for Sample full-day rate, per boat (as of 2026)
12 m speedboat up to ~12 guests fast island-hop, back-to-back snorkel stops from IDR 8,000,000 (~USD 500)
13 m semi-yacht, air-con cabin up to ~15 guests families wanting shade, cabin comfort, karaoke from IDR 9,000,000
Cabin day-cruiser / monohull 10–20 guests groups, longer south-coast days IDR 11,900,000–28,000,000
Premium catamaran / luxury monohull 12–35 guests large groups, celebrations up to IDR 44,500,000 (~USD 2,500)

Those brackets aren’t guesses. Sanur Water Activities (Heaven’s Corner) lists a 13-metre semi-yacht — air-con cabin, karaoke, flat TV — from IDR 9,000,000, and a 12-metre speedboat with a bean-bag sun deck from IDR 8,000,000. Parahu.com publishes a per-boat Nusa Penida pricelist that runs from a 15-passenger Monohull SW3 at IDR 11,900,000 up to a 35-passenger JA at IDR 44,500,000, with a Queen 10 (10 guests) at IDR 18,000,000 in between. Bluuu Tours lists private Nusa Penida yacht tours from IDR 13,000,000 (about USD 750), and Blue Marlin Bali advertises its Accura 39 from USD 750 for a four-hour coastal or sunset cruise and USD 950 for an eight-hour full day to Nusa Penida.

Where do the boats leave from, and how far is it?

Departure Reaches Notes
Sanur Nusa Penida, Nusa Lembongan crossing to Penida runs roughly 30–45 minutes by speedboat
Serangan Nusa Penida, south-Bali coast deep-water harbour, easy for larger cruisers
Benoa Tanjung Benoa, Nusa Dua, Uluwatu, Jimbaran Bay best base for a south-coast cruising day

A typical Sanur-to-Penida day, as published by Sanur Water Activities, looks like an 08:00 counter briefing, 08:30 departure, a 09:30 manta swim, snorkel sessions mid-morning, lunch at a beach club around noon, Kelingking and Broken Beach in the afternoon, and a hotel drop-off near 17:45. Hotel pickup, where offered, is usually a small add-on — Sanur Water Activities, for example, quotes an extra IDR 250,000 per car.

How does booking work?

  1. Tell us the plan. Message the Bali Premium Trip concierge on WhatsApp with your date, group size and the kind of day you want — snorkel-heavy, land-tour, sunset, or south-coast cruise.
  2. We match the boat. We come back with two or three vetted vessels that fit your group and budget, with honest, date-stamped per-boat prices and what each includes.
  3. We shape the itinerary. Manta Bay, Crystal Bay, Kelingking, the Yellow Bridge on Lembongan, or Uluwatu and Jimbaran on the south coast — we build the run around your group, not a fixed template.
  4. You confirm and deposit. You get a written confirmation with the vessel, inclusions, timings and total in IDR before anything is locked.
  5. You sail. Meet at the counter or take the hotel pickup, and the licensed local crew takes it from there.

What we promise — and what we don’t

We promise transparent per-boat pricing, real operator sources, and one accountable contact from enquiry to drop-off. We can’t promise the ocean. Manta sightings and weather are never guaranteed; sea conditions in the Badung Strait can move a schedule, and prices shown are “start from” figures as of 2026 that operators may revise. When that happens, we tell you before you pay — not after.
